Giving Nature a Voice: Food Waste

The Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications (GSMC) is the premier source of education and tailored training for journalists, communicators, media executives, and entrepreneurs in East Africa and beyond.

The Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications ran a grant program from 2016 to 2019 titled Giving Nature a Voice. The aim was to provide training and support for filmmakers in East Africa to produce documentary films that aired on NTV Kenya during this period.

Our involvement in the season four episode Food Waste primarily involved recording location sound & dialogue, camera equipment, and data management. The project was filmed over a period of 2 weeks where we engaged stakeholders in different parts of the country to create our film.
